In 2021 Keauhou Canoe Club awarded the $1500 James F. Rogers Academic Achievement Scholarship to Dannia Andrade from Kealakehe High School. Desiree will attend University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa and major in Pre-med and return to the Islands as a Doctor. Keauhou Canoe Club also awarded the 2021 Mike Haines Merit Achievement Scholarship recipient to Anastasia "Kahina" Benbouzid Hewitt from Ke Kula O Ehunuikimalino High School. Kahina will be attending University of Hawaiʻi Hilo and will major in Environmental Studies and Hawaiian Studies. We wish both women the best on their future studies and endeavors.
