About Keauhou

The Keauhou Canoe Club supports our community by providing paddling opportunities for all ages through our recreational program.  In addition to the daily visitors, we provide group paddling opportunities to community youth programs, various public and private school groups, and families.  We provide two high school scholarships annually.  KCC volunteers support  the local athletic events such as the Lavaman Triathlon (March/April)  Ironman World Chamionship Triathlon (Oct.), the Ironman Honu ½ Ironman Triathlon (May June), Kona Marathon (June), and Ultraman World Championship (Nov).  KCC helps sponsor an annual Keauhou Bay Clean-up in honor of Kauikeaouli’s Birthday/Fukushima Tsunami (March).  We have been fiscal and manpower sponsors of the GEMS(Girls Exploring Math and Science) program sponsored by AAUW.  We supported a Summer Lunch program for youth in 2015 and 16.
